Horseshoe Reservoir sits behind Horseshoe Dam on the Verde River, north of the Phoenix metro. It is the upper of the two Salt River Project reservoirs on the Verde.
Horseshoe Dam was completed in 1946 and is operated by the Salt River Project. Releases flow into Bartlett Lake immediately downstream and continue to the Verde's confluence with the Salt River near Granite Reef Diversion Dam.
Daily storage and elevation values come from SRP's Daily Water Report. AZWx presents a percent-of-capacity readout.
